SkSNTP ActiveX Control is a lightweight and powerful SNTP (Simple Network Time Protocol) ActiveX control that can be used for very accurate local clock synchronization with a remote time server across the Internet. The Magneto Software SkSntp ActiveX control (SKSNTP.OCX) allows developers to integrate the SNTP protocol message sending capability into their applications. SkSntp ActiveX control can retrieve the exact time from any SNTP server.
NTP events to user. To obtain time difference between local system and remote NTP server, the user application calls HsNtpGetTime function, specifying NTP server name or IP address and source UDP port to use. HS NTP library then resolves the server name, formats and sends NTP time request packet according to RFC1305 and RFC1769 standard. Once HS NTP has received NTP time reply from NTP server it analyses the reply and reports the resulting time difference
NTP servers, which are also queried by the NTP Time Server Monitor and the status is also displayed. The configuration file of the ntp service (ntp.conf) can be edited within this program. So it is no longer necessary to search for the right file in the possible locations within the Windows or NTP directory. If changes are made the program is asking if the service shall be restarted. - The NTP Time Server Monitor is able to read the system variables
